The European Commission (EC) decided to set up a public register for all interest representatives working to influence decisions taken in EU institutions.
On 22 January Mrs. Viviane Reding, the Commissioner for Information society and Media, delivered a speech to the Industry, Research and Energy Committee (ITRE) in the European Parliament.
It was good news all round as the latest industry figures, published by Rajar (Radio Joint Audience Research Limited), show more than 45m Brits are tuning in to the radio each week.
