AVMS Directive approved without amendments – 29/11/07

The European Parliament (EP) formally approved, without amendments, the Council’s common position on the new Audiovisual Media Services without frontiers Directive (AVMS) today, November 29th, 2007, at its plenary session in Brussels. This followed from the political agreement the EP and the Council reached in May 2007.
