New consultation on interference management – 23/03/07 Print E-mail

On March 19th, 2007, a new website has been launched to convey a consultation on spectrum management and interferences: http://www.interferencemanagement.eu/

The results of the study, subject to the findings of the analyses, will be a series of recommendations for policy decisions which will enable wider recognition of the role of, and greater use of, interference management techniques as a way of managing the radio spectrum.

Interviews will be conducted with key interested parties (they should get in touch with the project team). But there is also a questionnaire to fill online.

This project is being undertaken for the European Commission and is managed by InterConnect Communications Ltd as part of the Eurostrategies consortium and LS Telcom. Team members are also drawn from Connogue Ltd and Cartman dot ORG Ltd.

The project leader is Richard Womersley who can be contacted by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or by telephone on +44 (0) 1291 638400.

There will be a workshop to present the survey on May 3rd, 2007, in Brussels; exact location still to be confirmed.

The survey should be run until the end of May/beginning of June 2007 (June 1st, 2007, appr.).

There will be another workshop in September 2007, to present the outcome of the survey.
