Most important topics discussed were: 

• harmonisation of the L-band,
• digital dividend
• Wireless Access Platforms for Electronic Communications Services (WAPECS).

Documents that have served as a basis for discussion are now available on the RSC website.

Report by the Chairman states the following:

- WAPECS: Need to wait the CEPT studies on the topic

- Digital Dividend: Possibility to have Mobile Communications in the UHF Band if clustering is used; further studies nevertheless needed

- Harmonisation of the L-Band: lack of consensus on this point; so no decision taken yet

The RSC assists the European Commission (EC) in the development and adoption of technical implementing measures aimed at ensuring harmonised conditions for the availability and efficient use of radio spectrum, as well as the availability of information related to the use of radio spectrum.
