SRGP, a French employers'association,
studies and defends the rights, as well as the material and ethical interests,
of non-thematic private radio stations.
Radio broadcasters
belonging to this category must make sure that their transmissions:
- dedicate ample attention to information (several hours per day), broadcasting of cultural programmes, as well as of services, games, etc.
- include music programmes presenting a wide variety of styles.
SRGP is composed
of three members:
- Europe
1 (186 stations), represented by Brigitte Gauthier;
- RMC
Info (133 stations), represented by Alain Weill;
- RTL,
(163 stations) represented by Rémy Sautter.
SRGP appoints its president
for one year. The President's mandate is assumed on a rotating basis by
each of the Founding Members of the Association.
