AER Policy – conveying radios’ points to the EU Institutions

AER promotes and defends the interests of commercial radios to the EU Institutions by taking part in discussions involving stakeholders in the EU legislative process. It provides EU legislators with positions papers and answers public consultations to showcase the industry realities and safeguard a healthy environment for radios.

Although no specific EU regulatory framework exists for radio, EU legislation affects radio on different aspects and topics. Therefore, AER monitors closely policy areas and act accordingly by publishing positions papers on the following topics:
